Adam & The Testifiers

Adam & The Testifiers is a funk and soul collective led by singer, drummer and composer Adam Hendley. The group grew out of Hendley's earlier Tallahassee band, Urban Soul, and took the Testifiers name in 2020, drawing on a rotating lineup of more than twenty musicians. Their sound draws on 1960s to 1980s funk and soul in the tradition of James Brown, Sly and the Family Stone and Parliament-Funkadelic.
